About My Simple Learning App

My Simple Learning App is a native, offline learning practice app for iPhone and iPad. It was designed to provide children with clear, focused activities while giving instructors flexible controls and meaningful progress tracking.

This app is dedicated to autistic children and their families, with the hope that every child is given the patience, encouragement, acceptance, and opportunity they deserve to learn and grow in their own way.

My Simple Learning App was developed with the assistance of AI-based development tools. The object and action illustrations used throughout the app were generated with OpenAI tools and reviewed before inclusion.

AI is not used during gameplay to evaluate children, generate student feedback, make decisions about progress, or transmit student information.

AI Use

Prerecorded prompts for Numbers, Colors, Big vs Small, One vs Many, Find the Object, and Actions were created using the MIT-licensed Piper text-to-speech project with the en_US-amy-medium voice. Name prompts are spoken on-device using Apple’s AVSpeechSynthesizer and are not recorded or transmitted by Learning Games.

Audio & Speech

Learning Games has no accounts, advertising, third-party analytics, or app-run transmission of student data. Student data is stored locally unless the device owner uses Apple device backup or exports reports or backups.

My Simple Learning App uses open-source and licensed resources that helped make the experience possible.
